All her babies got adopted but since Pearl was so skiddish, she needed a very special home who would understand her. And she found one with a friend of the volunteer who instantly loved Pearl's unusual one green eye and one blue eye! Now Pearl lives in luxury. Way to go, Pearl! |

| 3. | December 2009 Denny crawled into the arms (and heart) of his mom at a Texas animal shelter. It was his last day, his time ran out. He was a little "pudgy" so no one was interested. With his quiet meow, he let her hold him like a baby and purrred away. She knew he was the one she'd been looking for. Denny turned out to be the most loving cat and has great manners. We think she made a great choice! |

They just adore him and say he is a perfect dog who has long forgotten his imprisoned past. Benji is free forever! |

| 9. | Rufus - June 2009 Rufus spends much of his time making sure his mom, Brenda, has unconditional love & companionship every day. Living at the lake, he loves to explore the shoreline and silently watches the ducks, wondering why they like to "sit on the water." When the squirrel cries and yell at him from tree tops, Rufus contemplates just how he can get up that darn tree?! ( we're sure he only wants to talk to the squirrel) ! The neighbors love Rufus and call out "Look! It's the King and his servant!" |

Luckily the person feeding the colony put him on Petfinder, where he found a new mom. She says although Cappi has severe arthritis, he doesn't complain, & is a perfect cat who is actually more like a dog. He'll come when he's called, go to his bed, get down, eat when he's told, & follows his new mom all round the house until he can curl up at her feet. He's 18 now & going strong! |

| 16. | Sana - November, 2008 Sana was found in some bushes when she was 3 weeks old, in the freezing cold & snow. The people who found her were allergic, but placed her in a neighbors care. Fortunately for Sana, they decided to keep her after seeing first hand just how loving and comical she was. Sana lived until she was 13, succumbing to kidney problems, but she was the best cat her family ever had. |
